Excursió a l’Illa de l’Aire.
El passat disabte dia 4 de maig, la Societat Ornitològica de Menorca va organitzar una activitat única i exclusivament dirigida als socis de la nostra entitat.
Un grup de 10 persones, va podeu gaudir de tot un dia d’estada a l’Illa de l’aire. Una de les nostres estacions d’anellament més important, sobretot en els passos migratoris i allà on un gran nombre d’espècies fa aturada per descansar i alimentar-se abans de travessar de nou la mar cap els seus territoris de cria en primavera i d’hivernada a la tardor.
L’equip d’anellados present a l’illa durant aquella jornada els va anar explicant tot alló referent a les aus que anaven anellant i van poder comprobar com es viu el dia a dia a l’illa durant la campaya d’anellament .
L’illa de l’Aire és també un dels llocs més importants de tot Balears en quan a les aus marines, on algunes de les espècies presents a la mediterrània tenen les seves colònies de cria.
Una activitat didáctica i d’esbarjo ,que de ben segur va agradar a tothom.
